The Personal Business Card

March 25th, 2007 · No Comments

Business cards, as a general rule, are used to identify a person as an employee of a company and to share their contact info relative to that company. Lately, a new use (at least for me) for the business card has been on my mind as a way to fill a growing need I have.

I want to be able to share my contact info with people I meet, not as an employee of a large company, but as a hobbyist writer and speaker of project management, leadership, and life in corporate IT. So, I’m ordering “personal” business cards I can use to help promote Tech Dark Side, experimenting with different designs. There are a million online print shops, and they have cool space-themed backgrounds that are perfect for my blog. I’m excited to be able to carry them around and distribute them.
