I’m sure you could add more items to this list, or you might debate my list. That’s cool. It wasn’t meant to be complete or authoritative - I’m just trying to help convey the meaning of the word. The fact is, the undernet exists, and, as far as a can tell, it’s a powerful force. One of my friends believes the internet might never have been so successful so fast if it weren’t for one specific aspect of the undernet: online porn. There’s probably some truth to it - the undernet supports multiple gigantic industries.

A Google of “Define: Undernet” reveals the use of the word since 1992 to define a specialized IRC channel. But I like your use of it, and will be glad to spread the word.
It reminds me of the underground use of the Greenback that made it the most widely used currency in the world.
