I’m going on my 3rd blackberry in 6 months. Evidently turning it on and trying to use it is too much for RIM to handle. I have the touch screen, it’s horrible. I’m dialing people, sending “kisses,” suddenly have an app trying to install, and many other nuissances like that constantly. And, the darn things just dies sometimes. Then it tries to reboot, can’t, then goes kaput. I have done nothing with this phone, no app installs, no downloads, just texts and emails, and it can’t handle it. I hope this company goes belly up soon so I can use a flip phone from the early 2000′s. I absolutely hate technology made for MBA’s, it’s all crap.

I just got the 3g Curve (9300) to replace my damaged Samsung Ace. Saw a reasonable deal for a new handset, and I do like a text phone, because touch phones are not great for typing. Want to use it mainly for calls, SMS, scheduler, plus voice and text notes.

So far it is a complete pain in the ass, and the call quality has inferior sound. The stupid little cursor navigator sensor works only when it is clean and dry. The lack of front buttons is a drastic over-simplification.

Too bad good simple text phones like Ace are obselete. Compared to Samsung, this BB thing is built like a cheap toy and cost $250 at very reduced price. Yes, I will train myself to ‘deal’ with it but that’s not the deal I was hoping for.

Blackberry is the biggest load of over-hyped crap there is! I have had no end of problems trying to get this piece of crap to do what I paid for and what is supposed to do. Every change of software meant that suddenly synchronization was stuffed up yet again and after endless frustration I have trashed Blackberry and gone to something much better: Samsung! I will sure as hell do my bit to destroy Blackberry’s self-promoted image!

I hate blackberry too!
I've made the stupid mistake of installing their desktop manager to my laptop and it freezes so much I can't work on it anymore! I called blackberry for support and after 1h40 min the guy told me it was Microsoft's fault! What a jooooookkkeeee!!!

I completely agree. I can’t find decent instructions anywhere. I found one instruction pertaining to media. All it said was that those options were available. Was this helpful? “NO!” Apps that worked easily on my old phone are no longer available. My BB Curve has been nothing but a frustrating waste of my time.

Has it occured to you that responding to every e-mail in your inbox will only result in you receiving more worthless e-mail as every hits "Reply-To-All"? Most e-mail is the worthless BS of someone trying to push their responsibilities off on the receiver. I guarantee if you stop responding, no one will miss it, and if it's really that important you'll get a phone call.
